Administration Condemns 'Democratic Fabrication' as Further Epstein Estate Images Disclosed
House Democrats have released a fresh batch of what they termed "disturbing" images from the property of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, depicting among others Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and ex-UK prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The initial drop of 19 photographs—a portion of which have been seen before—plus another 70 unveiled later on Friday constitute a tiny fraction of the nearly 100,000 images handed over to the House investigative panel, which is probing the conduct and connections of Epstein.
The disgraced financier was a victim of an apparent self-inflicted death in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being charged with sex-trafficking offenses.
High-Profile Individuals in the Photos
Included in the prominent personalities seen in the first release are celebrities including movie maker Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin business group.
Donald Trump is featured in three of the initial 19 images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are blacked out.
White House Reaction
The White House responded to the release in a statement, accusing Democrats of selectively "cherry-picking" the pictures for electoral motives and to "seek to establish a false account."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," a presidential representative stated, insisting that "this presidency has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have ever done by consistently demanding openness, releasing numerous documents of papers, and calling for additional probes into Epstein's liberal connections."
Panel Member Comment
The images were published devoid of explanation, but per a California Democrat and senior member of the oversight committee, they prompt further inquiries about Epstein's connections to wealthy individuals.
"The moment has come to stop this White House concealment and secure justice to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein and his influential associates," he declared in a statement.
The disclosure of these materials occurs alongside the oversight committee continuing its probe into the affair.
