Close to Ninety Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Came to or from UK Airports
Analysis has found that close to 90 aircraft journeys linked to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left UK airports, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who assert they were victimized by the convicted child sex offender.
Flight Logs Reveal Pattern of Movement
These aviation records were part of a trove of court documents and files made public by Epsteinâs estate that have been made public over the past year. The investigation uncovered 87 flights linked to Epstein â including many that were not previously known â landing or taking off from British airfields between the start of the 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unnamed women were listed among the travelers travelling into and out of the UK. Notably, 15 of these UK flights took place after Epsteinâs 2008 conviction for procuring prostitution from a minor.
âIt was âappallingâ that there had never been a âfull-scale UK investigationâ into his dealings in the country,â said US lawyers representing numerous Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
A statement from one of the British victims helped convict Epsteinâs accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that individual has never been contacted by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a statement, the Metropolitan police indicated they had ânot been provided with any additional information that would support reopening the investigation.â They commented, âIf fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, including any resulting from the release of material in the US, we will review it.â
Continuing Disclosure and Legal Rulings
Proposed legislation to make public every document held by the American government in concerning Epstein was approved by the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of documents are projected to be made public.
Additionally, a US judge decided last week that the DOJ could disclose evidence from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs longtime confidante, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
