Two men have been charged following a suitcase robbery where a suspected capsaicin spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was among those injured during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were subsequently released.

This event – which authorities stated was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – caused disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
